Bonkers AGAIN!

This place is so much fun for a bunch of boys to run off some energy.  Wednesdays are half price days if you wear your PJs.  So for a total of $4.75, we had a blast.  Rachel and the boys met us there.

I got to love on Jonah a bit.
This silly monkey found the stairs and he was hooked.  I spent most of the time following him up and down the stairs.

Eismann Center Fountains

As we left for the fountains, there were giant dark clouds in the sky, but that wasn't gonna keep us away.  We played for about 20 minutes and just as all of our friends arrived, the heavens opened and rain started POURING!!!  Luckily we got 20 minutes of play in.  Oliver was so sad that we couldn't play longer, so we went again today and hoped the rain would hold off.

This was really fun and FREE!!!

Crazy, busy summer

The month of June has flown by.  We haven't had a moment to sit still.  Oliver spent the first week of summer with my parents in San Antonio.  I don't have any pics yet, so will post soon.  We had two weeks of swimming lessons, our new cousin was born, Elliot turned one, we have had fun times with roseolla and impetigo, a trip to my grandparents, a week of VBS and now Clayton is off to another week of VBS and Camp Gigi and Grandpa.  After this week, Clayton will be spending 9 days with my parents and two of his cousins in Gatlinburg, TN.  For me, it means a little change of pace.  Only 2 kids for 2 weeks?  EASY BREEZY!!!! I am now trying to figure out fun things to do with Oliver since he will be hanging out with me for the next two weeks.  He misses his bro.  Plus, I have to replan our summer vacay since it appears that Destin is now oil covered.   I haven't much time to sit at the computer and blog, or if I have, I am tired and don't want to. So, here are some post of our fun, crazy, busy summer.

Father's Day

Happy father's day to some of the greatest father's in the whole world.  It was a horrible pic taking day for me, so you get what you get.  We spent the afternoon at Joel's parent's house celebrating his amazing Dad and then the evening celebrating my amazing Dad.  Sadly, I did not take any pics with my Dad.

Elliot and sweet baby Jonah slept the afternoon away.

The Lake

After the last day of swimming lessons, we headed up to Momma Pat and Poppa Joe's house.  They live about 1 1/2 hours away at Lake Kiowa.  The boys were so excited.  We got there pretty late, so we went straight to bed and spent the next day having the best time.  We started out fishing.  The boys didn't take to it so well because they weren't catching anything.  They don't exhibit a whole lot of patience.  So, we headed to the "beach".  We played there ALL day.  They loved it.  And, they were wiped out afterwards.

Thanks, Momma Pat and Poppa Joe for letting us visit.  We hated that it could only be for one night, but this summer is jam packed with activities.  We can't wait to visit again.
