I've hijacked my wife's blog again to bring you this walking update:

You are just getting too BIG!  I keep thinking you are going to take off walking any day now.  You have taken about 10 steps at one time.  So close. We don't need to discuss how picky you have become at eating.  PICKY!!
You love to laugh and be silly.
(Those giant molars coming in...OUCH!)
You still love hanging out at my side.  I still love it!!!
Pure Sweetness!!!

Day with Dad

I asked Joel to take off work one day and spend a fun day out on the town with us.  We rode the rail, then the trolley.....
Then on daddy's shoulders.
Looking out over downtown from the skylobby.
I love this place.  My Dad used to take me here when I was a kid.  We would go visit my Mom at Children's hospital when she worked at night and then he would take us here.  I always thought it was so cool.  I love sharing some of my childhood with my boys.
We took a brief detour through the DMA (it was free tuesday and it was PACKED).  Oliver had pizza on the mind, so all he wanted to do was EAT.
We stopped at Grimaldi's for some yummy pizza.
After the DART ride home, we stopped for yummy DQ treats to complete our fun day out with Dad.

Happy Birthday, America!

We had a great 4th of July weekend.  We only had one kid in tow for the entire weekend, so it was quite relaxing. Going from 3 to one is almost like having none.  Clayton was headed to Tenessee with my parents for vacation and Oliver was with his godmother.  We spent Saturday at the Firewheel Mall Festival.  Our church's band got to perform on the middle stage.  Besides the pouring rain, it was awesome.

Elliot got to see his first fireworks in the arms of his uncle Scott.
Olivia thought this was the greatest thing EVER!!!
I only took a few pictures of the actual 4th.  We spent the day at Joel's parent's house.
