Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!!
The boys decided the morning of to change their costumes completely.  Clayton came up with this homemade costume himself.  He is Indiana Jones.
We met the Amezcua Family at Mimi and Gongi's house for an afternoon Halloween get together.  Sadly, the Halpins had already gone on Friday, so we missed seeing them in costume.

Elliot went as his cute self.  He was anti-costume this year.
Oliver decided to dress as t-rex (a costume we have had for 5 years and is way too small for him).  Whatever makes them happy.
Then, we spent the evening at my sister's house with my family.
My niece dressed as little Bo Peep and her dog was dressed as her sheep.  So cute!

Thankfully, we did not have school on Monday.  It would've been really hard to get out of bed.

I just want to give a BIG, HUGE thanks to all of you who have given donations for Annie thus far.  You know who you are.  You have no idea how much this means to us.  We are completely grateful and are continuously amazed.  You have all been a huge part of this journey.  When we bring home Annie one day, we will think of you.  Hopefully, you will all be standing at the airport waiting to see her sweet little face for the first time and you will know what an incredible gift you have given us.

Life is so busy.  I don't have much time to blog and it makes me sad.  I have so much to say.  Taking care of my three boys and supporting and loving my very busy husband and working and trying to finish up our homestudy paperwork...whew...it's a lot.  Not complaining, just telling you why my blog has taken a back seat.  I have pictures and things to say.  Hopefully, soon.  For now, I will leave you with this.

If roughly 6% of born again christians in the world adopted we could care for all the adoptable orphans in the world.  That is 1 in 17.

Zoo Day

..instead of Fair Day.  The Fair has gotten pretty pricey for our family of five, so this year we asked the boys if they would rather go to the zoo.  They thought it was a great idea.  We finally got to see the new Giants of the Savannah that just opened this year.  It was incredible.  We had a blast.

Girls Weekend 2010

I was so blessed to be able to go on a girl's trip with these 7 amazing women.  I am so blessed to have them in my life.  We had two days of just sitting, eating, and talking.  That's all we did.

Clayton's Baptism

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:8-10

We are so proud of you, Clayton.  This is the biggest decision you will ever make in your life.  We pray for the path that the Lord takes you on and that you will continue to draw closer to him.
