Wedding Garters

My cousin got married this weekend and I made her these garters.  She wanted an ATM garter, so this is what I came up with.

(the black bows are only a part of the tags, not the garter themselves.)

Mimi's Wedding

The boys were ring bearers in my cousin Amy's wedding.  It was a gorgeous wedding and the boys did a great job.  They looked so handsome.  Elliot had to stay with Gigi due to a stomach bug.  Sadly, I do not have any pictures of him from this special day.
This is my all time favorite picture of Oliver.  I forgot my memory card and thankfully my sister's memory card fit in my camera.  We switched off throughout the night.

Oliver LOVED the dancing.  It was so fun to watch him.

They had an ice cream bar instead of a groom's cake and Oliver and Clayton were in heaven.  I don't have any idea how much ice cream they consumed that night
Me and my beautiful sisters Jenni and Erin.
The lovely bride and groom.  Mr. and Mrs. David Schwarz.

A boy and his cars

This boy LOVES cars!  You will more than likely see him with a car in each hand at all times.  He does not think he is a baby and must play with all things that are for big boys.  We build this car track for him every morning and he will play with it for hours.

Chewbacca Movie

The boys love to make movies.  Here is one of Clayton's recent interviews with Chewbacca. It is hard to see since he was videoing towards the light, but it is a Lego Chewbacca.  It is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!

He is so creative and so funny.

Funny Oliverisms

*When he dropped his fork on the ground he said, "I didn't see that comin'."
*Do you know where the scratch-backer is? (back scratcher)
*Me "Oliver, why do you always take your clothes off when we get home?  Can you just not stand wearing clothes?"  Oliver"I can't stand it, so I am just going to sit."
*I asked Oliver at dinner tonight what happened to Jonah when he disobeyed God.  "God put him in time-out in the whale for three days."

In a BIG way.  Here are so many new posts from things that have happened this entire month.

I just ran out of free space on my blog, so Cruisin' and Baptism will come at a later date when I figure out what to do.

Science Fair Project

When it comes to science fair projects, I am not a fan.  I never participated in the projects until they were mandatory my sophomore year in high school.  When I did participate, I gave it zero effort.  I actually did the entire project including all data collection on the night that it was actually due.  So, I turned it in a day late.  I borrowed plants that were grown by my best friend's brother for his science fair project and passed it off as me growing them.  Did I learn anything?  Yep...that I DO NOT like science fair projects.  Well, it has come full circle and it is back again.  This time it is not optional in SECOND GRADE.  It is REQUIRED.  UGH!!!!! Well, since I really want my son to succeed and do not allow him to turn anything in late, we stayed on top of it, really did the project and finished it.  I felt like I had homework.

If you have dirty pennies and are dying to know the trick on how to clean them,  do we have the solution for you.  I know all of you Moms out there are sitting around with nothing else to clean, so why not start shining all those pennies in your piggy bank.

I tried to let Clayton do most of the work on the board, but I was having a hard time letting go.  I would've preferred a different color scheme, but he insisted on using all the colors sporadically all over the board.  I think it turned out well.  My 10th grade science teacher would be proud.  I have redeemed myself.  I am a second grade science fair success!!!!!  Clayton did most of the work and he did a great job.

Oh, and the tasty secret to clean pennies..........GRAPE JUICE!!  I know, shocker!!!

First Real Haircut

The hair was finally beyond my expertise.  I had to take him to the haircut place.  The hair was looking a little crazy.

He looks DARLING!!!
